Real Food Bars are functional nutrition bars that provide sustained energy to achieve your mission. Whether it be climbing a mountain, conquering a mid-term or waking up in the middle of the night as a new mother, Real Food Bars help you get MORE out of life with a bar that is MORE than just a snack.
Real Food Bars focus on three key value propositions – plant-based protein that is high in bioavailability, prebiotic fiber for a healthy microbiome and immunity, and sustainable ingredients that are naturally better for the environment. They comply with virtually every diet, contain a moderately low level of net carbs and are paleo friendly. What’s more, we are creating a circular food economy by upcycling kale, sweet potato and cauliflower to do our part in averting food waste. Real Food Bars are easier to digest, free from gluten, dairy and soy with premium plant-based ingredients from real food.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS
Real Food Bars are Non-GMO Project Verified, made of 80% organic ingredients and made with upcycled ingredients. To-date, we upcycle 10% of our bars from alternative food streams from food fruits and vegetables that are surplus or imperfect. Our mission is to be a driving force for good in a broken food system by averting food waste and creating alternative selling markets for farmers. Not only that, but our nutritious shelf stable bars that have a big impact to nourish our communities. We are on track to avert 5,000 pounds of food from going to landfills in 2022. Not only does upcycling reduce food waste, but it also fights climate change.
HOW WE GIVEBACK
Since founding in 2019, we have given back to mission-aligned nonprofits in our community. To-date we have given back to the Central Texas Food Bank, All Worth of Love, Detroit Youth Boxing Gym, Mompreneur & Me and Operation Supply Drop.
Starting in 2022, we are giving back to Adaptive Adventures. Adaptive Adventures provides progressive outdoor sports opportunities to improve quality of life for children, adults and veterans with physical disabilities and their families.
