Protein, Fats and Fiber

An ideal way to start your day or fuel that mid-day hunger slump. Protein from peas which are home grown in Wisconsin and contain 85% protein per 100g, making it a tough contender against whey.

Healthy fats with medium chain triglicerides from coconut oil and nut butters. Our source of fiber is meticulously sourced to be a true, legitimate fiber. This means that there is no additive called isomaltooligosaccharide. Our certified organic tapioca fiber derived from cassava root and is supported by a low glycemic validation study conducted by Canada’s GI Labs showing a minimal glycemic response.

Immunity Support

Polyphenols from cherries reduce muscle fatigue and have anti-inflammatory properties. Prebiotics feed your gut's natural bacteria. Both ingredients naturally support immunity.

Maintain Blood Sugar Levels

We tested our bars side-by-side with other similar brands to see how we held up from a glycemic index perspective. Real Food Bars were tested with CGM devices, commonly prescribed to Type 1 Diabetes by a independent third party. Real Food Bars showed minimal-to-no blood sugar change (actual results shown here tested by Tastermonial).

Maintaining a steady blood sugar level is important to overall health. Here are a few of the benefits:

•  Helps keep our energy levels steady and avoid energy crashes
•  Helps keep our mood balanced
•  Helps our body store carbohydrates in muscle instead of fat
•  Helps train our body to burn more fat while working out

Hidden Veggies

We added greens for additional micronutrient support. We started with kale because it has the highest aggregate nutrient density. We then added in sweet potato and cauliflower. The Aggregate Nutrient Density Index (ANDI) was developed by Dr. Joel Fuhrman to rank foods according to micronutrients per calorie.

Filling your diet with micronutrient-rich foods is a great step to maintaining optimal health.
